LOGO MARKS WITH TYPE
The logo mark is comprised of a "V" and an "F" to represent Valley Fair. The "V" forms the top half of a a bag with a white strap that continues in the red badge area. The solid blue bag is a condensed variation of the blue signage from the sixties. I didn't want to totally erase the decades of brand recognition that was built.
These final logo marks incorporate the nostalgia of the color palette from the sixties logo but with a modern execution. The minimalist sans serif typeface coupled with the smooth rounded edges bring a clean modern look to a forgotten classic brand.
LOGO PATTERN/ COLOR PALLETTE
The logo pattern can be used on a variety of assets including gift wrap, a repeat inside of a box etc. The color palette is from one of the outdoor signs of a Valley Fair discount center.
